The Dermamelan Whitening treatment is a combination of an in-office mask treatment and an at-home maintenance procedure aiming to reduce pigmentation and improve skin texture. The complete procedure last for 1 month: research indicates a 99% success rate on removing pigmentation blemishes by 95%. During the month long procedure, the treated area will experience a light peeling effect. The procedure is safe for all skin types.
Pre/Post treatment
- Patient should stop using any AHA/BHA/Retin-A products at least 1 week prior to treatment
- In-office mask (Dermamelan 1)treatment: apply in the clinic on the treated area and should be left on for the designated hours as instructed by the doctor. At-home procedure: application of a special treatment cream (Dermamelan 2) twice a day for the first two weeks and once a day for the next two weeks.
- Face will be red and peeling. Sunscreen should be used at all times and patient should avoid sun exposure during the procedure
